Finding Equipment For My Newborn Baby I just delivered a healthy baby 1 month ago and I began looking for things to help me get around. I am rather busy, however I refuse to leave my baby alone, I needed something that would enable me to bring my baby with me. I looked in several stores and could not find what I was looking for. I need something that I could use from now until my baby is at least 1 year old. Something that is adjustable, I don’t want to buy something new every time my baby has a growth spurt. I must have tried over a dozen stores looking for a decent baby carrier and even searched all over the Internet for a sling for my baby. I believe I have literally tried every web site there is. I am so pleased I found the Hippychick website though (recommended by a friend). The Hippychick hipseat is one of the best baby carriers I have came across! This seat has been fully tested and this carrier is award winning. Looking online, I thought it was wonderful before purchasing it, however when it arrived at my home I was even more satisfied. The carrier is unique in that it sits on the side of the hip and is designed to remove stress off the parent’s hips and back when carrying the baby. The seat is also padded. This pad protects me and my child. If you are still worried about you babies neck, as babies can not hold their own heads up, it may be better to opt for a baby sling. Really the hipseat is for older babies and toddlers. | | Monday, January 30th, 2012 | | 12:48 pm |
Contents of an Electricians Site Journal Basically what a site diary contains is the entire working of the particular electricians project. It encompasses a record of the whole team working on the project, equipment used, finances as much as the inclusion of any injuries as well; the latter being taken into account on the grounds that electrician’s work is related to electricity directly so the chance of occurring a mishap is more likely than not. Here are some of the most basic contents which should be included in any site diary: - List of all the electricians and staff involved in the project
- List of all the equipment, instruments and tool used in the specific project
- All the details regarding the electrical work, how to go about working, details of the sites and necessary documents
- Record of all the injuries and first aid present at the site
- Pictorial evidence of the site and electrical work on starting, middle and ending stages.
The most effective practice is to keep a daily record in your site diary or else it will get confusing piling up in the end. Keeping a daily journal works in every profession and equally well in the electrician’s profession. | | Wednesday, November 23rd, 2011 | | 11:57 am |
R&D Electrical Ltd - Somersets Leading Electrician You may have heard through the recent post at Posterous Blog that there were some electrical problems that arised in their new building. I wanted to tell of a similar tale that we had after installing a new kitchen in our office block. We originally worked out of an older building and our office had a small kitchenette where we could prepare lunches and have the usual coffee breaks. With an increasing workforce we decided to install an urn heater as we found the kettle was using too much electricity (all those coffee breaks!). We also hired in the same electrician who came to install our heater, and they were excellent! They actually advised which was the best eco urn, and also added additional wiring to create a stable environment for the heater! We try and sing their praises at every opportunity, so thanks again! | | Friday, October 14th, 2011 | | 1:14 pm |
Shopping, Retail and Business in Bristol Having work quite thoroughly throughout UK, I can always relate to Bristol very favourably. Having learnt the trade in the high streets of Bristol city center, its always nice coming back to visit. While researching local shops in the area (scouting a location actually!) we met up with a few friends and business acquaintances in the city. Originally met with LogicalJack SEO and the guys at Atomic Smash Productions, who were very sweet. Talked a little about business online, if you ever need website help then ask them and they are sure to help. Afterwards we stopped by park street to see a few locations and unluckily we hit the student crowds. Obviously as schools are back on there were students everywhere, if you have been in Park Street during school term you will know! Anyway wanted to give a shout out to those that helped in my quest, cheers guys! | | Tuesday, September 27th, 2011 | | 9:23 am |
Writing, Writing, Writing Tony Blair had it right when he address Education, Education, Education - such a simplistic view. It seems that you never break this cycle, as at the moment all I am doing is a lot of writing. Dont get me wrong, I love to write. But I love writing about things I am passionate about and enjoy doing. Its very much like a fine artist being comissioned to carry out some sketches for a childrens book. They are not going to enjoy it, and the quality of work is going to suffer. Never the less I have now finished most of the writing blocks over the last two weeks and I am gearing up for a holiday next week! I am off to Portugal so I get to do some much loved travel writing, I will be taking a camera too so expect to see some upates if I can find WiFi over there. In the mean time if you want to catch up on my previous publications or any of my older writing pieces then please check out a few of the sites I write for - Ezine Articles - Currently a general interest blog I have published some of my younger audience articles here Flavors - This is a personal feed of posts and writings which I publish Posterous - Again more of a collection of work which has been published on shopping and retail | | Thursday, June 2nd, 2011 | | 4:52 pm |
Have UK Shoppers Become Lazy? It seems that many UK consumers are turning to the internet to carry out shopping, but is this due to being lazy or is it because its a lot more efficient? Recent studies show that many people are using the internet as they are able to get products nationwide, rather than whats available locally. And all this is a lot easier to acquire with simple shopping techniques. Many people are using the internet as a great way to source gifts for those living in the UK. This is obvious through the increase of sales reported by The Olive Tree for their gift hampers. Along with this many prolific bloggers have been writing about the benefits of buying online, and even cited a gift hamper shopping article as a great way to assist in your search. | | Monday, May 2nd, 2011 | | 4:20 pm |
Green Energy and Solar Power - Do We Really Want It? ...It seems not Or at least that is the message received earlier today when I came across this post on the SolarisVigor blog >In summary it seems that up to 6 large windfarms in Scotland had been paid up to £900,000 to stop the production of energy. Yes thats right, rather than being paid to produce energy, they are being paid not to produce it. There are a few reasons behind this, but the main glaring mistake is that the national grid is unable to take such an increase in electricity generation during high winds. And this happened in early April, high winds across Scotland meant that many of the windfarms were producing more energy than could be used. Do check out the post as it really has some informative details which I never knew before. For full details see the green energy blog. | | Monday, April 11th, 2011 | | 5:40 pm |
Trailer Park Boys in the UK!? Just heard about the Trailer Park Boys doing a UK tour not too long ago, however I missed it. After a little searching around I have found they have gone back to the US so no more UK tour dates this year. The reason for the tour is actually to promote their latest TV show which is out very soon, so keep an eye out on Comedy Central as its sure to be hilarious. My search for Trailer Park Boys goodies did not stop there though, as I actually found the Encyclopedia Dramatica entry for the Trailer Park Boys..and down towards the bottom was a link to this page - http://dir.logicaljack.com/recreation/trailerparkboys-live-uk-showThe site has an excellent write up about the Trailer Park Boys UK tour, at the HMV Forum in London. Its accompanied with pictures, transcripts and even videos of the show! If you want to skip right to the videos then I suggest you head on over here and check them out - http://www.youtube.com/user/logicaljackdotcom |
